1. Incorrect Brushing and Flossing

Brush using a soft toothbrush, moving in a circular motion two times daily, each time taking 2 minutes. Floss at least once a day using a gentle, sliding motion.

2. Frequent Intake of Acidic Foods and Drinks

Citrus fruits, vinegar-based dressings, wine, and soft drinks are high in acid. These acids can weaken your enamel, making your teeth more vulnerable to sensitivity and cavities.

You should also rinse your mouth with water after eating any acidic food or drink and leave the brush at least 30 minutes after such an occurrence to prevent the removal of enamel that the acid has weakened.

3. Eating Too Much Sugar
